Apollo pricing looks simple: $49, $79, or $119 per user per month. The catch lives in annual billing, per-user seats, and yearly credit pools. Here are the real numbers.
Numbers from Apollo's own pricing page, both billing toggles, checked July 27, 2026.
| Plan | Annual rate / user / mo | Monthly rate | Credits / year | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 900, granted monthly | 2 sequences, basic filters |
| Basic | $49 | $65 | 30,000 | Year's credits upfront on annual |
| Professional | $79 | $99 | 48,000 | 14-day trial |
| Organization | $119 | $149, annual billing only | 72,000 | Minimum 3 seats |
The monthly rates sit behind the pricing page's billing toggle, and the annual toggle is labeled SAVE 24%. Monthly plans grant credits month by month (2,500, 4,000, and 6,000 per seat) instead of the year's pool upfront. On the annual math, Basic is $588 per user per year, and the Organization floor is three seats at $119, which is $4,284 a year minimum before add-ons.
The plans are seats plus a yearly credit pool, and the pool is what you actually spend.
Per Apollo's own pricing page and API docs: revealing an email costs 1 credit, revealing a phone number costs 8 credits, and enrichment runs 1 to 8 credits per record; Apollo's pricing FAQ puts data enrichment at up to 9 credits per record. Annual plans unlock the full year of credits at cycle start. The thing to size before buying is not the seat price but whether the credit pool matches your list-building volume at those reveal rates, because a phone-heavy list drains the pool 8 times faster than an email list.

Three details that change the real cost.
First, the headline rates are annual: leaving early does not shrink the commitment, and monthly billing costs about a third more per seat. Second, pricing is per user, so a five-person SDR pod on Professional is $395 a month, not $79. Third, the free plan's 900 credits a year arrive as 75 a month: up to 75 email reveals, or far fewer phones at 8 credits each, enough to evaluate the product, not to run outbound.

Not the same product: Apollo's $4,740 buys person-level contacts plus sequences and a dialer. The receipt is for teams that only need the business records.
If what you need is fresh business leads by market rather than a per-seat sales platform, the meter can be much simpler.
CrustAPI returns every business in a market as a complete record: name, category, address, phone, website, rating, review count, and coordinates, at 1 credit per business returned. No seats, no annual term, no reveal mechanics. Here is a live pull:

Apollo is a sales platform, not just data: contact-level records with emails, sequences, a dialer, and CRM workflows. If your team runs person-level outbound inside one tool, the seat price buys real machinery. We sell the business-level data layer: every company in a market with its public contact points, priced per record.
